Searcys are looking for Waiting Staff for one of its City Based venues, as a Waiting Staff for Searcys you will work on the events and private dining for the venue and deliver quality service to our guests.

This role will be based in a B&I contract closely located to Moorgate.

Job Description

20 Hours Contract

£13.15 PH

Monday to Friday


Role responsibilities:


  • Play an integral role in the successful delivery of food and beverage in the members club restaurant
  • To work with the Club Supervisor to meet and greet customers and deliver a successful operation of the club restaurant.
  • Be able to read and understand the restaurant menus and deliver all refreshments as per request.
  • To lay up and prepare tables and service points according to the menu, numbers required and to Company standards and Client specification.
  • To serve meals and beverages, and to carry out all necessary waiting duties to the Company standards and Client specification.
  • To give a professional and efficient service in the dining rooms and promote a friendly but discreet service.
  • To clean down dining rooms and service areas as necessary, prior to and after service, and to ensure that all tables and bar area is left ready for the next service.
  • To be responsible for the cleanliness of the beverage prep area and sink. This will include washing up silver and glass polishing and sanitising surfaces.
  • To be responsible for ensuring all card takings and payments belonging to the company/client are dealt with in the appropriate manner and reconciled accordingly.
  • To attend meetings, courses and training sessions as may be necessary from time to time
  • To ensure that all documentation is complete in an accurate and satisfactory way and are available to the manager at all times.
  • To comply with all legal requirements with particular reference to (but not exclusively) fire regulations, security, licence requirements and any Local Authority or Client stipulations
  • To carry out any reasonable management request.
