Cinnamon Care Collection is seeking a full-time Care Co-ordinator for their luxurious residential and dementia care home, Merriman Grange, located in Worthing, UK, with an annual salary of £35,500. The role involves assisting the General and Deputy Manager with the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring high-quality standards of resident care, and acting in the Deputy Manager's absence. Responsibilities include coordinating resident assessments, facilitating communication of care requirements, leading a team of caregivers, overseeing medication management, and conducting staff performance reviews.
Candidates should have an NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent, alongside a minimum of two years' experience in long-term care. The role demands strong leadership skills, the ability to implement and evaluate care plans, and knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations. The home also features luxurious lounges and dining rooms, an on-site café bar, a cinema and a professional hair and beauty salon.
We are recruiting a Care Co-ordinator to assist the General and Deputy Manager in the day to day running of the home on a 24- hour basis. You will help to maintain and improve quality Care standards and also stand in for the Deputy Manager across the whole range of their duties in their absence.
The Care Coordinator sets the standard for Team Leaders, Senior Care and Care Assistant responsibilities, including ensuring excellence in resident care, providing outreach and support to families.
Main Responsibilities
Be working towards or have an NVQ 4 in Care or a Level 5 in Care Management or a Registered Managers Award or QCF Level 4 Diploma in Management.
Two years’ experience in long-term care or similar industry
Plan, implement, evaluate, and clearly document care delivery
Team player, decisive, initiative-taking, initiative-taking, flexible, and adaptable
Awareness of COSHH and CQC regulations
Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation

Main Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate the resident assessment process, ensuring involvement of the resident in
- Ensure that all relevant information in respect of each resident is communicated as
- To work hands-on with the team to ensure the appropriate levels of care are
- To prepare the weekly A&I report and action any concerns noted to improve quality outcomes.
- Oversee the Safe Medication Management programme, ensuring robust auditing procedures including those surrounding pharmacy processes, and identify any training needs.
- To assist to complete all supervision meetings and yearly performance reviews with staff in the department, ensuring that the Cinnamon Care process is always followed.
- Ensure appropriate staff coverage through effective staff scheduling and completion of daily assignments in the absence of the Deputy Manager.
- To conduct formal procedures alongside the Deputy Manager, such as investigations and disciplinaries.
