With good organisational & prioritisation skills, you’ll be a great addition to any one of the teams you rotate into. Whether medicine, gastroenterology, trauma & orthopaedics, respiratory, or cardiology & transplant. You’ll provide exceptional nutritional care to acute wards & outpatient services.
Once you achieve a recognised dietetics degree or equivalent & registered with the HCPC; you’ll assess the nutritional condition of patients, make dietetic diagnoses, give therapeutic treatment options, & provide evidenced-based advice. As the consistent practitioner, you’ll review outcomes, & adapt care plans to facilitate patient centred goals. Always ensuring medical, psychological, social, environmental & cultural needs are considered.
