NHS Grampian is seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Health Visitor to join their experienced team based in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire. The role involves managing a diverse caseload that includes child protection cases and working with families in a predominantly rural area that has seen significant housing development and an increase in young families. Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with prior health visiting and multi-agency experience, especially regarding child protection, being advantageous. The position is open to newly qualified Health Visitors and those under Annex 21, including current Trainee Health Visitors.

The successful applicant will be part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality early intervention services based on the Universal Health Visitor Pathway and GIRFEC principles. Aberdeenshire offers a unique geographical landscape, including the Cairngorm Mountains and coastal areas, and is within commuting distance to Aberdeen, which has travel infrastructure to support further connectivity.
