The Main Outpatient Manager position at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Middlesbrough is an internal role aimed at candidates currently employed by the trust. The successful applicant will lead and develop the Main Outpatient Department, working closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Service Managers, Matrons, and various nursing and administrative staff. This role involves managing outpatient performance, ensuring high-quality patient care, and achieving performance targets, including waiting list management. Applicants must hold a nursing qualification and be self-motivated, flexible, and forward-thinking.

The role requires you to be a problem solver, to be flexible, resilient and forward thinking.

It is essential that the post holder will have a nursing qualification, working with the clinical team to maintain a high level of clinical experience and ensure that outpatient performance targets are achieved and sustained including some waiting list management. You will work with a multidisciplinary team of staff on a daily basis to ensure the highest levels of patient care and experience are achieved.
