We're looking for an ambitious leader, RN to be a part of the Health and Justice team at HMP Manchester.
The Primary Care Manager will support the continual development of providing community equitable services to the population of those in custody at HMP Manchester.
You will thrive on challenging environments and have a high level of emotional resilience.
The post holder will be supported with the security checking procedure (Counter Terrorism Clearance) to enable them to work in a High Secure Environment which must be maintained as a condition of employment.
Main duties of the job
The main role of the post holder is one of proactive management of healthcare, supporting the Head of Healthcare/Head of Operations to maintain the strategic direction and delivering the agreed contractual requirements and targets and managing within the financial framework.
The post includes responsibility for all aspects of HR and people management, leading, motivating and developing staff.
Maintaining service provision within the Trusts governance framework in delivering agreed standards of care and within a defined financial envelope.
To develop, restructure and align staffing capacity to meet service demand to deliver agreed waiting times.
