The Scottish Prison Service is seeking Prison Officers - Operations for various locations in Glasgow, with a starting salary of £28,425, which can progress to £32,200 within three years. This role offers an opportunity to significantly impact the community by upholding the SPS vision of enhancing safety in Scotland through the transformation of lives. Officers will maintain custody and order while facilitating programs for offenders that promote family connections, education, and rehabilitation, ultimately aiding their reintegration into society.

Responsibilities include ensuring the security and functionality of the establishment while executing tasks in various areas such as Front of House and Prisoner Reception. The role involves shift work across a variety of patterns, including early, day, back, and night shifts.
