The UCL Institute for Global Health is seeking a part-time Library Assistant to support its Subject Liaison Team. This permanent role, comprising 29.2 hours per week, is focused on enhancing customer service, collection management, and academic liaison within the library. The successful candidate will assist the team in delivering both face-to-face and online library services to a large user base, including over 8,000 students and 800 staff. Key responsibilities include managing enquiries, providing training, and promoting library resources, while collaborating with Subject Liaison Librarians to support academic activities.

Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in IT applications, particularly Microsoft Office. A minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades A*-C) or equivalent qualifications is required. The role offers a competitive salary between £24,930 and £27,827 per annum, along with a range of benefits including annual leave, flexible working arrangements, and access to UCL’s resources and facilities.
