Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust in Liverpool is seeking two motivated Band 5 Research Nurses to join its Clinical Research Division on a fixed-term or secondment basis until March 2026. Successful candidates will work alongside a well-established research team, contributing to a variety of research studies for children and young people across different clinical specialties, funded by the National Institute of Health Research. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Clinical Research Division at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
We are looking to employ two motivated band 5 research nurses, who are keen to join our Clinical Research team, delivering research for children and young people. Both Posts are fixed term/Secondment until March 2026.

The Research Nurse will be part of a team of research nurses working in the Clinical Research Division and will assist with the day to day management of a portfolio of research studies. The role will involve working on studies from a range of different clinical specialities and is funded by the National Institute of Health Research, Clinical Research Network. The post holder will assist with screening, obtaining consent, sample collection and data collection for studies on their portfolio, in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines.
