The role of Staff Nurse in the Outpatients department at NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde involves providing specialized care to patients with infectious diseases, including those with long-term conditions such as HIV. The position requires a current NMC Registered Adult Nurse and involves diverse responsibilities such as pre-clinic preparation, conducting vaccinations, and developing care plans for patients. The nurse will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care, assess patients' needs, and educate them to maintain their health and avoid hospital admissions.

Work hours are structured Monday to Friday, consisting of four 8-hour shifts and a shorter day as needed for service provision, totaling 37 hours per week.
