About the RoleAs the
Care Home Manager
, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the home’s operations, from clinical care to staff management, while ensuring compliance with CQC standards. You will drive continuous improvements, maintain a welcoming environment, and provide exceptional leadership to your team.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring high-quality care and support for residents.
  • Lead and develop a dedicated team, providing coaching and guidance to maintain excellent service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, health and safety requirements, and other relevant guidelines.
  • Monitor the financial performance of the home, controlling budgets and resources effectively.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Care Home Manager, preferably in elderly care.
  • A proven track record of achieving good CQC ratings and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and support a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
