Job description
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
These are fixed-term posts of 18 months.
The shift pattern for this position is Mon-Fri, 09.00am-5.00pm.
The three posts are to support the PDS service within Renfrewshire, and are temporary posts for 18 months. The post holders will enhance the support already available from the Renfrewshire Older Peoples Community Mental Health Service. They will provide Post Diagnostic Support in line with the 5 Pillar Model for people who have received a diagnosis of dementia and will work with families for a minimum of a year, providing advice and support around aspects which will enable people to live well with dementia for as long as possible. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring effective leadership within the Post Diagnostic Support service.
