NHS Scotland is seeking a permanent Healthcare Support Worker for the Environmental Support role, based across various sites in North Ayrshire, specifically within Ward 3A, Oncology, Haematology Day Units, and Haematology Clinic. The position involves enhancing cleaning protocols, managing stock ordering and rotation, and providing support to patients undergoing cancer treatment. The Healthcare Support Worker will play a vital role in delivering quality, person-centered care within inpatient and outpatient settings.

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Healthcare Support Worker based cross site across Ayrshire in Ward 3A/ Oncology/Haematology Day Units & Haematology Clinic.
What You Will Do
You will support with enhanced cleaning, stock ordering and rotation & generally supporting patients going through their cancer journeys.
You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of quality person centred nursing care and defined nursing interventions, within an In-Patient, Day Unit & Clinic setting to patients living with cancer in Ayrshire.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
