Job description
We are looking for a motivated, team player to join the NHS Grampian radiology department. The role will include deputising for the superintendents and assisting with the day to day running of busy, high performing general departments within ARI. This involves engaging and working collaboratively with all members.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership, a good working knowledge and several years’ experience within radiology. This should include trauma, inpatients, GPs, mobiles, theatre and fluoroscopy work.
As this team has just completed a large reorganisation process, candidates should be forward thinking, able to implement innovative ideas and effect positive change within the team.
Successful candidates will be educated to degree level in Diagnostic Radiography with current registration in HCPC.
NHSG Radiology Department provides imaging services to approximately 620,000 people living in Grampian, Orkney and Shetland. NHS Grampian is in an exciting phase of modernisation of which radiology is key. The Board has invested £120 million for the Baird Family Hospital which will bring together maternity, gynaecology and breast services on one site along with The ANCHOR Centre which will provide outpatient and day-patient treatment for patients with cancer and blood disorders.
Aberdeen is a lively, cosmopolitan city located in the North East of Scotland. In the city, there are beautiful parks and gardens and a superb beach just a short walk from the centre. The city boasts fantastic museums, galleries, bars and restaurants and offers great shopping in centres and the main city streets.
