Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a qualified nurse, social worker, psychologist, or an Allied Health Professional to join their Single Point of Access (SPOA) Duty and Assessment team as a CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner. The role involves conducting mental state and risk assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions, managing a defined caseload, and collaborating with families and various agencies under the Child and Adolescent Mental Health THRIVE Framework. Practitioners will operate independently within professional guidelines and maintain high standards of assessment, treatment, and discharge for children, young people, and their families.

Additionally, the job entails participation in a duty rota for handling referrals and emergency assessments, developing therapeutic plans in conjunction with clients and their families, and regularly reviewing the effectiveness of clinical interventions using Routine Outcome Measures. The position requires traveling to various community locations and supports MFT's commitment to integrated health and social care, innovation, sustainability, and fostering an inclusive work environment.
