The role of Clinical/Counselling Psychologist in Mitcham with South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust involves working within the Merton CAMHS Single Point of Access (SPA) team, which provides mental health assessments and brief consultations for children and adolescents. The position focuses on developing new support initiatives, including self-referrals for 16 and 17-year-olds and enhanced school consultations. The psychologist will provide leadership and supervision to junior clinicians and assist in triaging and assessments. Strong communication and assessment skills are essential.
