Fine Care 24/7 Ltd is seeking a motivated and reliable Healthcare Assistant (HCA) for a part-time position at a care home in Bridgend, Wales. The role involves supporting elderly residents with daily activities according to their care plans, assisting with personal care needs, and maintaining care records. Candidates should have at least six months of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a nursing or residential home, and possess good communication skills, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. We require motivated, reliable, experienced and attentive Health Care Assistant to provide care in a reputed care home in Bridgend, Wales.

Responsibilities & duties
- As a healthcare assistant (HCA), you'll work under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional, usually a nurse.
- Work within a team in a care home environment for the elderly.
- Support residents with all daily activities in accordance with their individual care plans.
- Assist in maintaining care records that reflect current needs and preferences for each resident.
- Ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained by supporting/assisting Elders with washing, toileting, dressing, undressing and all other aspects of daily living.
- Assisting Elders who have limited mobility, or physical/learning difficulties, making the best use of mobility aids and personal equipment provided.
- Work in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

The following experience and characteristics are considered essential to the role:
- Passionate about caring for others.
- At least 6 months full time experience of working within a healthcare environment, preferably within a nursing/residential home or hospital environment in the UK.
- Ability to understand care plans and risk assessments.
- Ability to be patient & keep calm under pressure.
- Reliable, hardworking & trustworthy with good communication skills.
- Eligible to work in the UK with valid online DBS.
- Up to date training certificates.
