The Healthy Weight Coordinator position is part of the School Health Service within the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust's Children’s Community Services Directorate. The role focuses on combating severe obesity among nursery and reception-aged children through individualized weight management support for their families, based on assessments from the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP). The Coordinator will deliver tailored interventions, including dietary, physical activity, and behavior change advice, while working collaboratively with families in home, school, and local health settings. Responsibilities include conducting visits and consultations, developing care plans, evaluating interventions, and maintaining detailed documentation in compliance with trust requirements.

The position offers the opportunity to work within a large, integrated health and social care system that serves one million patients yearly across Manchester and beyond.
