The Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Apprentice Medical Records Clerk for a fixed-term contract of 18 months, involving 37.5 hours of work per week with flexible working options. Candidates should possess experience with Microsoft packages, demonstrate strong organisational and multitasking skills, and be able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism. This role includes managing patient records, handling telephone queries, preparing documents for scanning, and adhering to data protection regulations. Applicants must be at least 16 years old, have lived in the UK or EEA for the past three years, and provide evidence of GCSE qualifications in Maths and English.

As part of the apprenticeship, successful candidates will complete a Level 3 Business Administration qualification through an external provider, supported by a tutor and mentor. The position entails responsibilities such as collecting and delivering patient files, updating patient demographics, and ensuring all scanned documents are accurately processed. The role calls for adaptability, contributing positively to a large team, and a commitment to the values of care, communication, and collaboration within the healthcare environment.
