The Workforce Development Lead for Non Medical Education (Community Services) at Sutton with Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust will be responsible for enhancing workforce development across clinical services and administration. This role involves providing educational leadership to ensure that staff possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and values to effectively serve local communities and adhere to NHS standards. The post holder will coordinate clinical placements for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, manage the education team, and ensure the quality of training and assessment processes.

Additionally, the role includes fostering professional development among supervisors, maintaining high standards of clinical practice, and acting as a key resource for the community health workforce. The individual will be expected to undertake clinical duties as needed, model professional behavior, communicate effectively in challenging situations, and contribute to budgetary recommendations that aim for cost efficiency. Regular travel between various providers, universities, and offices is also a requirement of this position.
