The Health Advisor in HIV services role at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust involves supporting patients through the BBV testing program, with an emphasis on confirmatory testing and partner notification. Key responsibilities include providing education and support to individuals diagnosed with HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, leading pre- and post-test discussions, and ensuring a seamless transition from GUM to HIV services for newly diagnosed patients. The advisor will also manage specific projects in collaboration with the lead sexual health advisor and deliver targeted prevention and education programs for young and vulnerable populations.
