Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Lead Research Associate to join their esteemed Orthopaedic Research team in London. The ideal candidate will possess a background in Allied Health Professions (AHP) or nursing, specifically in Musculoskeletal and/or Orthopaedics. The primary responsibilities include overseeing the operational management of the research office, ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory standards for research projects, and coordinating closely with both local and international partners to implement cutting-edge research in Musculoskeletal/Orthopaedic Medicine.

In this senior role, the Associate will collaborate with the Barts Bone & Joint Health academic group and manage research physiotherapists across multiple orthopaedic departments. This position involves conducting clinical trials, liaising with finance teams for accurate project costing, and fostering relationships with academic institutions and industry partners to enhance research protocols. The individual will also contribute to the strategic development of research initiatives, particularly at Barts Health, thereby furthering their mission of delivering evidence-based healthcare.
