The Dual Diagnosis Nurse position at Change Grow Live in Hendon involves providing comprehensive support to individuals facing complex challenges due to substance use and its effects on mental and physical health. The role requires delivering specialized clinical interventions within a multidisciplinary team, emphasizing a tailored approach to each service user. Responsibilities include conducting mental health assessments, developing collaboration protocols with mental health and substance misuse services, providing education and harm reduction advice, and managing cases of dual diagnosis clients. Additionally, the nurse will contribute to the development of service protocols, deliver training to colleagues, and participate in community detoxification efforts.
