The Community Children's Nurse - Special Schools position at The Bridge Special School in Telford involves providing nursing care to children and young people in an integrated special school nursing team across Shropshire and Telford. The role requires collaboration with school staff, parents, and other professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate tailored care programs for students, while ensuring effective communication and involvement of service users. The successful candidate will also engage in training and supervising support workers, participate in child protection procedures, and may need to work flexibly, including traveling to homes or other community settings.

This role is primarily Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 16:30, with operational flexibility required to meet service needs, including potential end-of-life care. Additionally, the position is a maternity cover, and annual leave must be taken during school holidays to maintain service coverage.
