The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Band 5 Dermatology Nurse, or someone with a keen interest in dermatology, to join their supportive team in Shrewsbury. This fixed-term role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for individuals with dermatological conditions, as well as assisting the surgical team during minor operations and potentially working across different sites to meet service demands. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality care, provide clinical advice, and support the dermatology surgeons, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.

We are looking to recruit a dynamic, hardworking, kind, compassionate Band 5 Dermatology Nurse or an individual with Dermatology interest to join our friendly supportive Team, who will participate in the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation of patient care and to ensure continuity of care providing support for a group of patients with Dermatological conditions.

The role involves supporting the surgical team in the minor ops service for patients undergoing specific Dermatological Surgical procedures and may involve cross site working to support the demand of the service we are looking for and caring individual.

The post is fixed term for 12 months.

The post holder will be required to deliver high quality care, supporting and assisting the Dermatology surgeons and surgical team, providing clinical nurse advice, education and treatment resulting in excellent holistic care for our patients.
