The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking applications for a Clinical Fellow in Haematology at the ST3+ level. Candidates must have haematology experience, passed the MRCP or equivalent, and be registered with the GMC. The role, primarily based at QEHB, involves managing transfusion services, collaborating with various clinical teams, and working closely with the transfusion laboratory team and practitioners. The fellow will participate in subspecialty training for one day a week at NHSBT Blood and Transplant, covering areas such as Patient Blood Management and Red Cell Immunohaematology. The position is a fixed term of one year, with responsibilities including patient care, quality improvement initiatives, leading clinical review meetings, and managing blood requests. The fellow will receive supervision from haematology consultants and is expected to undertake one weekly clinic.
