Following a comprehensive review aimed at modernising and aligning job roles with service needs, the Pharmacy Department at Macclesfield Hospital is expanding. We are pleased to announce a new opportunity for Ward Based ATO role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team and further expand our ward-based, patient centred work.

This post is permanent.

Hours per week: 37.5

To assist in the delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients at East Cheshire NHS Trust through the provision of a safe, efficient and effective dispensary and distribution service.

This role is for a ward-based ATO role were the duties will include

Assessing patient's own medications.
Ordered patient medications.
Assisting in the processing of discharge prescriptions at ward level.
Optimisation of medicines supplies to prevent wastage.
