Panacea Collaborative in Grimsby is seeking a newly qualified GP (within two years of qualification) for a PCN General Medical Practitioner role, initially on a fixed-term contract until March 2025, with potential for extension based on ARRS funding. The position involves working 2-6 sessions per week across Birkwood Medical Centre, Stirling Medical Centre, or Clee Medical Centre. The salary is negotiable, and the role will adhere to BMA contract guidelines.

Key responsibilities include conducting patient consultations (both routine and urgent), managing chronic diseases, facilitating preventative care and screenings, and coordinating referrals. The GP will also handle patient queries, review test results, issue repeat prescriptions, and ensure high-quality, evidence-based care while utilizing available clinical staff for comprehensive care. About us
Clinical Duties:
Provide face-to-face and telephone consultations for routine and urgent care.
Conduct patient home visits (low frequency)
Manage patient care in surgery, including investigating and reviewing results, developing care plans, and making referrals to secondary care or other providers. o Issue and sign repeat prescriptions, ensuring they align with national/local guidelines.
Administer and handle patient-related queries, test results, referral letters, and other tasks in a timely manner.
Record clear, contemporaneous consultation notes using S1 clinical system.
Ensure safe, evidence-based, and cost-effective care, in line with Practice disease management protocols and NICE guidance.
Independently prescribe medications within your scope of practice.
Review and manage patient medications following appropriate policies and local clinical guidelines.

Utilise other available clinical and support staff in delivering a holistic and patient centred care.
