The King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Rotational Pharmacy Technician to join their team at the Princess Royal University Hospital in Orpington, Kent. This Band 4 position is open to qualified pharmacy technicians registered with the GPhC, as well as those nearing completion of their qualifications. The role involves rotating between Dispensary and Aseptic Services, providing practical experience and training. Key responsibilities include managing the supply of medicines, dispensing medications, preparing aseptic products, and supporting patients with medication information. The technician will also liaise with ward and pharmacy staff, contribute to policy development, and assist in training new staff.

The ideal candidate will deliver a customer-focused service, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications across the Trust. The position requires a proactive approach to reviewing pharmacy practices, the ability to work independently, and proficiency in using pharmacy computer systems. Full training will be provided, and the Trust encourages applications from community technicians looking to expand their experience in a clinical setting.
