The Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Cardiac Structural Nurse to join the expanding structural heart disease service at the Trent Cardiac Centre. In this senior role, the nurse will be responsible for pre-assessing patients for various structural heart disease procedures, providing inpatient assessments, and participating in multidisciplinary team discussions to evaluate patient suitability for trans-catheter interventions. The position involves leading the nursing component of the TAVI/structural heart intervention service, managing the structural nursing team, and driving service improvement through audits and clinical projects.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced interpersonal skills and clinical leadership in managing the complete clinical pathway for patients undergoing these complex procedures. They will work closely with a range of healthcare professionals, ensuring exceptional standards of care and facilitating the professional development of the nursing team.
