The role of Family Ambassador & Lived Experience Lead at Oxford Health NHS Trust involves improving the mental health services for children and young people by integrating the perspectives of parents and families into care solutions. The successful candidate will guide and support families with young people in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), advocate for enhanced service quality, and facilitate a community for Experts by Experience and Family Ambassadors. Collaboration with various partners within the Thames Valley Specialised Children and Young People Mental Health Services Provider Collaborative is essential to ensure care is accessible, connected, and of high quality.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with case managers and quality leads to address concerns and improve services, as well as working alongside senior managers to promote accountability for service delivery. The position aims to create a seamless care experience through ongoing development, safeguarding, and governance, ultimately ensuring families receive crucial support throughout their journey.
