The Head of Supply Chain Management at NHS England will play a pivotal role in supporting the New Hospital Programme, which is part of the Government's Major Projects Portfolio. Operating within the Strategy and Planning team, the individual will be responsible for leading the Integrated Supply Chain Planning process, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s overarching H2.0 strategy. Key responsibilities include the development and maintenance of supply chain and logistics strategies, creating and managing demand and supply plans, aggregating supply and demand data into a master plan, and engaging with stakeholders to monitor performance and assess risks.

The role entails regular collaboration with trusts and design teams to validate demand plans, overseeing the preparation of supply/demand reviews, and driving operational process improvements. Additionally, the Head of Supply Chain Management will lead and develop a team that may consist of internal employees and external partners, thereby contributing to the overall success of the New Hospital Programme.
