An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to provide administrative support to the Sussex Eating Disorders Service (SEDS) based in Brighton. SEDS delivers care and support to adults in the community with eating disorders across Sussex. As team administrator the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team and will act as the first point of contact for service users and staff. The role involves working as part of a team but also the expectancy to work independently to manage and prioritise own workload. Excellent communication, administration and IT skills are essential for this role, along with high levels of motivation, enthusiasm and a 'can do' attitude.
The post holder will provide excellent administration support to the wider clinical team, including processing referrals, handling enquiries about the service, direct patient liaison arranging appointments etc. the preparation of agendas and minutes, triage support to clinicians, specific projects where designated along with supporting the wider admin team. The role will require proven organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, reporting closely to their supervisor and the Admin Team Leader who will oversee the workload and wider staff team.
