The Pharmacy Procurement and Distribution Officer at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is responsible for supporting the Pharmacy Procurement Team in maintaining the supply chain of medicines. Key duties include placing orders with suppliers, processing invoices efficiently to ensure timely payments, and addressing any price queries or discrepancies. The officer will also manage goods receipt queries, process return to supplier requests, and assist with electronic and manual invoice processing using the Pharmacy Stock Control System and EDI software. This role requires effective communication with suppliers and collaboration with pharmacy staff to streamline procurement operations.

Additional responsibilities involve managing records for timely archiving, inputting procurement data into relevant databases, and working with the Procurement team to address medicine shortages. The position necessitates attention to detail, organisational skills, and a friendly approach when dealing with inquiries.
