The Substance Misuse Social Worker position in Doncaster with The Alcohol & Drug Service offers an opportunity to work within community teams focused on long-term case management for adults facing substance-related challenges. The role involves supporting individuals through a key working and care plan approach, collaborating with prescribing specialists and implementing harm reduction strategies to enhance community integration and improve overall life outcomes.
In this capacity, the social worker will demonstrate expert practice by assessing and managing both new and existing service users, while maintaining an appropriate caseload that aligns with the service's objectives.
