The Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a full-time Orthopaedic Plaster Technician to join their dedicated team in Surrey. The role involves providing cross-cover at both St Helier and Epsom Hospitals, primarily supporting fracture clinics in the mornings and elective clinics and ward patients in the afternoons. Candidates must hold a BOA Orthopaedic Practitioner qualification and possess experience in an acute hospital setting.

Key responsibilities include selecting, applying, removing, and maintaining various types of casts, measuring and fitting braces and splints, ensuring proper limb positioning, and providing patient education regarding care for casts and splints. The technician will also be expected to recognize and report any signs of wound infection or inflammation. This permanent position is part of a weekly rota from Monday to Friday.
