The Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a full-time Consultant Geriatrician with a specialist interest in Movement Disorders, particularly in managing neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and expanding multidisciplinary team, providing crucial clinical leadership and care to an aging population. Applicants must hold Membership of the Royal College of Physicians, be registered with the General Medical Council, and be on the Specialist Register or nearing completion of their training.

The role offers a total of 10 Programmed Activities (PAs), structured as 7.5 for direct clinical care and 2.5 for supporting professional activities, with participation in the weekend on-call rota. The Trust is well-equipped with modern facilities across its hospitals, serving a population of over 600,000 and providing a broad range of medical services.
