We have an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Substance Misuse Service Senior Manager to join HMP Preston, a Category B male prison in Preston city centre.

This is a brand new role, created due to growth, and will be leading the Integrated Substance Misuse Service Team (ISMS) as we roll out our new One Team approach across the service. The service offers a broad and diverse range of treatments to patients suffering from a range of substance misuse issues. 


Hours



This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts are 08:00 - 16:00 / 09:00 - 17:00.


Salary

This is a full time role, and the salary is £49,848 - £55,996, depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

As our new Substance Misuse Team Senior Manager, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:

  • Having overall oversight and responsibility for the Substance Misuse Team, including line management responsibility, as well as performance management and HR
  • Manage the delivery of a busy and dynamic substance misuse service, providing psychosocial treatment interventions
  • Provide effective leadership to the SMS team, whilst forming part of the Senior Leadership Team onsite
  • Review and improve the service offered to patients, ensuring that the team are delivering a high quality, safe, effective and efficient service to the patients 
  • Lead, guide and develop the team as we roll out our new One Team approach
  • Support the Head of Healthcare as necessary
