The University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapist to join their Stroke and Neurotherapy Team. The role involves rotating through various services, including a Stroke Unit, Hyper-acute service, and community neuro rehabilitation. The successful candidate will provide specialized occupational therapy assessments and treatments for clients with complex neurological conditions, and will be responsible for acute rehabilitation, discharge planning, and referrals. The position requires effective communication, evidence-based practice, and the ability to supervise junior staff and students.

Candidates must possess a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy, post-graduate experience with neurological impairments, and HCPC registration. The role includes a weekend working roster, late shifts, and requires travel across different sites in the Bournemouth area.
