The Practice Nurse at White Medical Group in Ponteland is responsible for delivering high-quality primary care nursing services, adhering to the NMC Code of Conduct. Key responsibilities include conducting health screenings, promoting healthy lifestyles, administering vaccinations, supporting infection control measures, and managing chronic diseases. The role also involves providing advice on men's and women’s health, family planning, travel health, and minor illness management, as well as performing wound care and venepuncture.

The position requires active participation in personal and professional development, including clinical audits, mentorship, and the integration of evidence-based practices. The nurse may also contribute to the practice's research initiatives and is expected to work collaboratively within the healthcare team to ensure the highest standards of patient care are met. Regular reviews of duties will take place to adapt to the evolving needs of the practice.
