The CAMHS Creative Therapist role at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHSFT involves providing individualized and group Arts Therapy for children and young people facing complex mental health challenges. As an HCPC registered Allied Health professional, the successful candidate will develop and implement patient-centered therapies while also managing and supervising trainees and junior staff. Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team is essential to ensure comprehensive care, and the therapist will conduct assessments, deliver interventions, and contribute to treatment plans, focusing on improving service user outcomes through effective evaluation practices.

This position requires an individual who upholds the Trust values and adopts a holistic approach to mental health care. Responsibilities include planning and developing therapeutic programs, evaluating their effectiveness, and participating in case meetings to integrate insights from therapy into broader care strategies. The therapist will also play a key role in facilitating reflective practice and joint working within the team to enhance the support provided to service users.
