The role of Advanced Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) in ENT, Voice, and Head & Neck at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust in Brighton offers an opportunity for an experienced therapist specializing in voice disorders and head and neck cancer to join a respected SLT department. The position emphasises collaboration with ENT services and multidisciplinary teams, promoting a supportive and innovative work environment focused on patient-centered care. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of voice patients, conducting FEES, participating in videofluoroscopy clinics, and contributing to the development of virtual services. The role also involves supervision, mentoring, and involvement in clinical governance activities as well as service development.

Candidates should have experience with instrumental and perceptual voice assessment and be prepared to travel between hospital sites. The department supports continuous professional development (CPD) and offers flexibility in work patterns, ensuring a comprehensive onboarding process with supervision from clinical and service leads. The position is integral to delivering and enhancing clinical services in line with the Trust’s Patient First program.
