HMP Whatton is a male adult prison with a capacity of 855. Hours: This role is permanent based on 37.5 hours per week, shifts covering Monday - Sunday 5 days per week - 8.30am - 4.30pm 4 days per week - 7.30am - 5.30pm Salary: This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary between £42094 - £47466 per annum FTE - depending on experience. As a Senior Learning Disability Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will Respond as directed by the Mental Health Team Administer medication Duty role which will be reviews, meds, IDD assessments for example ADHD assessments Manager in the day to day operational functioning of the Mental Health team. Responsible for a caseload and be accountable for all aspects of delivering a nursing service for adults with learning disabilities/ challenging behaviour, within the criminal justice setting. Working with adults whose behaviours have resulted in their offending and coming into contact with the criminal justice system Working with the multi-disciplinary team to undertake person centred specialist behavioural assessments, planning and co-ordination of positive non aversive behavioural approaches to service users.
