Band 7: £46,148 to £52,809 a year per annum / pro rata  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY

The post holder will be based in North Bucks (Aylesbury). In addition to generic CAMHS work, the post holder will be expected to demonstrate particular expertise in relation to working with young people using CBT both independently and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

In addition to direct clinical work involving assessment and intervention including care co-ordination, there will be the opportunity to use a range of core skills such as consultation, supervision, and service evaluation. The posts will suit either clinical or counselling psychologists or those with CYP IAPT CBT training.

There are professional links within disciplines across Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, with structures in place for supervision and governance arrangements.There are strong links with local training courses.

To supervise and support the CBT assessment and therapy provided by CBT trainees. Also to provide consultation, supervision and support to other clinical members of the service who provide CBT based care and treatment.

To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the governance of CBT practice within the service/team.

To utilise skills for audit, policy, service development and research.
