We are recruiting someone who will complement our team, working as part of a highly regarded central department, leading an enthusiastic team responsible for delivering the monthly management accounts.

You will collaborate with a variety of different stakeholders throughout Finance, including Business Partners, Financial Accounting and Reporting Team and Head and Senior Corporate Financial Planning Managers, to ensure accurate and timely reporting of the organisation financials.

In this role you will manage specific key business processes such as Financial Planning, Budget Build, Financial Forecasting and Management Accounts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Co-ordinating, planning and execution of the monthly management accounts process, working with the Head of Financial Planning, Senior Financial Planning Managers, Finance Support Analyst Team Leader, and Business Partners to continuously review and improve these processes.
  • Line managing the Finance Support Analyst Team Leader and Finance Support Analysts, leading, developing and motivating direct reports and regularly undertaking performance reviews.
  • Developing and improving the management accounts preparation processes by continually identifying and implementing opportunities for streamlining monthly routine tasks alongside striving for consistency.
  • Providing high-level strategic advice, direction, and support to senior managers within NHSBT and externally.
