The University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for a full-time Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist to join their Neurophysiology Department at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The role involves performing a comprehensive range of diagnostic studies, including nerve conduction studies (NCS), electromyography (EMG), and EEG reporting. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with neurological, neurosurgical, and orthopaedic consultants to enhance patient care for both in- and out-patients, and support primary care services. There is also an opportunity to develop subspecialist interests, particularly in advanced neuromuscular neurophysiology, and contribute to the education and skill development of clinical physiologists.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate leadership in service delivery, maintain high-quality patient care, and effectively communicate with a diverse range of colleagues. The department, accredited under UKAS for Improving Quality in Physiological Services (IQIPS), encourages involvement in new developments and improvements in clinical neurophysiology.
