The South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Middlesbrough is seeking a Pelvic Health Specialist Midwife to lead its Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS). This role involves developing and implementing the PPHS across multiple sites, establishing clinical protocols, and providing high-quality care for women experiencing perineal trauma and bladder/bowel dysfunction related to childbirth. The midwife will collaborate with the Obstetric team, act as an educational resource for staff, and work with physiotherapists to train midwives on pelvic floor muscle exercises. The position includes responsibilities such as conducting clinical audits, supporting healthcare education, and participating in research. Note that this position is exclusively open to current employees of the South Tees Trust.
