The Quality Improvement Fellow position at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Exeter provides an opportunity for a CT level surgical trainee to engage in quality improvement and research initiatives, particularly focusing on the implementation of the Peri-operative team, Enhanced Recovery, and BOAST projects. The role includes mentorship from a consultant surgeon and involves participating in the junior doctor on-call rota with a 1:8 day shift and 1:10 night pattern, allowing for dedicated, bleep-free time for quality improvement activities.

As part of the Trauma & Orthopaedic department, the fellow will likely have opportunities to present and publish their work, contributing to a collaborative environment that prioritizes patient care and quality enhancement.
