Band 4: £26,530 to £29,114 a year per annum  PERMANENT 
To be responsible for the scheduling and organisation of meetings/training for the team, drafting agendas, taking formal minutes together with action notes and to provide other high standard service support for meetings as required.

We have a PA vacancy and would like to recruit an individual who has proven experience of working within a successful senior administrative role ideally within the NHS field that is able to work independently and has developed excellent prioritisation and negotiation skills.

We are a large and forward thinking Children's Speech and Language Therapy Service (SLT), working as part of Inclusion Services within the Children and Families Division of Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

This role would require you to provide PA support for the SLT Management Team and for the Speech & Language Service. You will be required to prioritize, plan and organize your daily workload, ensuring that daily tasks and ongoing workloads are completed within agreed and acceptable timescales. Supervisory experience of more junior members would be beneficial. Experience and knowledge of NHS ESR systems would be favourable.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential as timely, effective and sensitive communication is an important part of the role. A flexible approach to work, together with the ability to work to deadlines is important for this role and You should be confident working on your own initiative, as well as part of a team.

To provide comprehensive secretarial and diary management support to the Speech and Language Management Team and agreed Inclusion Services cover where necessary.

To provide an effective and efficient business focused administration and support service within the Speech and Language Therapy Team; working collaboratively with managers and other support staff to ensure the smooth running of all office based systems and to resolve or refer problems as necessary.

Take responsibility for a range of administrative duties which will include interrogation of databases, RiO (Patient Management System) and the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) and stock control.

Support with the delivery of projects and deadlines within the Team as directed by the Speech and Language Management Team.

You must be competent with Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook and be confident dealing with staff over the phone.
