The Medway NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Nurse Lead for Prevention of Falls in Gillingham, offering a Band 8a position with a salary range of £53,755 to £60,504 per annum. The successful candidate will act as a clinical expert, implementing and overseeing an integrated falls strategy aimed at reducing incidents of falls and associated harm both within the hospital and the local community. This role involves leading the Falls Service, developing relevant policies, assessing local services, and fostering strong relationships with healthcare professionals to ensure a unified approach to falls prevention.

The Clinical Nurse Lead will also coordinate the ambulatory falls care pathway, support multi-professional teams in delivering high-quality fall prevention care, and engage in teaching and guidance activities.
